165 Calorie S'MORES Bowl

If you have followed me for any kind of time, you probably see that I eat the same thing over and over, will get sick of it, and won't touch it again for months. *If I know something keeps me full, is lower-calorie, or nutrient dense... I am not changing it until I have to!

Well you may have seen my personal salted caramel pie that I was making every few days, a few blog posts back. I will link it here (only 175 calories, woo woo)!

Well in true fashion, the pie was getting a little old... so then reveal's the S'MORES BOWL!

Using similar ingredients, this bowl gives me all of the satisfaction I need for my sweet tooth of both creamy, crunchy, & sweet! Try the recipe below or create your own bowl by mixing up the marshmallow flavor (Max Mallow's makes a Birthday Cake flavor that I have done with Lily's White Chooclate Chips & sprinkles for a 'birthday cake bowl'!

INGREDIENTS

2 MaxMallow brand Marshmallows (Walmart baking aisle)

36G Catalina Crunch Cereal (I used Chocolat & PB flavor from my variety pack on Amazon) - Linking cereal HERE

16-Lily's Dark Chocolate Chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Crush your Catalina Crunch cereal in a plastic bag to make 'granola'/crushed nut size pieces.

  2. Melt marshamallows in microwave for 18-20 seconds. TIPS: They will expand in microwave. Eat shortly after warming as they will harden as they dry out from the microwave. However, if you eat it quickly it is the perfect marhsmallow consistency as shown below!

  3. Top your marshmallows with your cereal & dark chocolate chips.

It helps me stay in line with my fitness goals when I know I can enjoy sweets/treats without going way over my calorie objective.
