3 Favorite Kitchen Fitness Items
Something I LOVE about living a fit lifestyle is that it takes YOUR discipline to achieve it! No one can do it for you, no amount of money can buy it. It says so much about your character to be able to live fit.
At the end of the day it comes down to your consistency, hard work, & discipline, but there are a few things that have helped make that easier for me along the way! Here are my top 3 kitchen must have’s for maintaining a healthy lifestyle:
1.) Nutribullet
I start EVERY day with a protein shake! I used to hate the taste of “protein” and found that was traditionally a whey protein - the Arbonne protein has the best flavor (and nutrition facts) I have ever found, I have been using it for 5 years now! Blending protein, instead of just shaking it in a cup, makes it much more enjoyable to me as I like to add ice to thicken it and drink it through an oversized straw. You can also add fruit or frozen veggies to add more nutrients and change the flavor!

2.) Food Scale
Guessing can be the most discouraging thing in your nutrition journey! “Assuming” the nutrition facts of something, without ever measuring or fact checking, can really be giving your body more calories than you think - which can be very defeating if you’ve been making “healthier swaps” but don’t know why you’re not seeing changes! Weighing my food to find the portion helps me know EXACTLY what my body is getting!

3.) Meal prep containers
Each week I prep my meat only, unseasoned, and weigh it on my scale, put into containers in the fridge already portioned out! This takes all the time and guesswork out of cooking dinner, yet I can make what I am craving with easy throw together ingredients!
I’ll add fajita seasoning to a chicken container and mix it in the skillet with frozen peppers and onions and serve in a low carb tortilla. Or I’ll toss my beef in pizza seasoning and spread it on top of a tortilla for pizza night!
Storing meat for the week has really helped keep me more consistent so I don’t get burnt out on what I had made for the week!
Glass ones I have from Amazon, I love that you can see the meat in these in the fridge and it looks aesthetic! https://amzn.to/3TFBNBf
I have these which are great for packing in lunchbox and stack well in your pantry: https://amzn.to/4aczta4
