3 Things I'm Doing to SHRED This Summer

I only promote having a routine and lifestyle that you can maintain forever! Through all ages, all stages. I have felt a great relief when I quit 'gaining weight' around holidays, or in normal life, and restricted for events of vacations. I am happy to teach a method that you can pick up and go on a trip any day of the year and feel your best!

BUT... there are still a few things I like to do if I am really looking to 'level up' my journey, reduce inflammation, tighten my body. It gives me excitement to have a new goal to work for and is a great challenge both mentally and physically.

Here are some things I will incorporate the next few months to ensure I stay feeling and looking my most fit!

1.) Slight calorie deficit + 130g protein! Most days of the week (Usually about 5) I will begin tracking my macros again so that I can ensure I am getting enough protein, while slightly reducing my calories. This will help me decrease excess body fat to show tone.

2.) More daily steps! Don't underestimate the power of steps. While steps alone aren't the magic, by either going on morning walks, walks on your break, or running sprints (which is what I plan to do 2-3X per week) - you are more active and it makes me more active frequently through the day/week!

3.) Focusing on eating from the earth! I am taking the time to be mindful of what I am putting in my body, most days of the week. Limiting processed foods and ensuring that each day I am getting a variety of fruits, vegetables, and something good for my gut - such as kombucha or sauerkraut.

In addition to all of these things, I ensure to complete resistance training 3-5X per week, by following along with my boot camp videos. I also get a gallon of water EVERY DAY, no matter if I am traveling, at home, exercising, or not. I incorporate 'off track' foods any time the occasion comes -- I do not wait for a set day of the week, which I have found personally has given me a lot of mental freedom towards my relationship with food to not feel that it is so "go" and "stop".

If you are looking to LEVEL UP with me, be sure to jump on my private Facebook group (Virtual Boot Camp) where I will be posting DAILY for accountability, filling out calendar trackers, & pushing each other to find a routine that is realistic as we shred for the summer!
