My Favorite Low Cal Topping
Frozen fruit may be the easiest, most versatile thing you can keep on hand! I love getting larger fruit, like strawberries, 'sliced', or you can find blueberries, berry medleys, tropical fruit blends, and more. Sam's Club always has a great price on frozen fruit!

WHAT TO DO!
Fill a small cup (could even use a microwavable measuring cup) to put your fruit in and run hot water over the top of it, leaving just a small amount of water in the bottom of your dish. Microwave your fruit for 30 seconds (may require longer if you have a large amount of fruit). Take it out, and with a fork, mash it around to create a compote consistency. If it still seems really cold in places, microwave 10-15 seconds longer.
TIPS:
Add Swerve brand powdered sugar to add more sweetness without the added calories
Add a little bit of honey as an all natural way to sweeten it (1TBSP honey = 64 calories)
Add Good Good brand jelly (or a sugar free jelly) mixed in with it to thicken it.
I love to serve this over yogurt (I am currently loving the Chobani brand, but Two Good & Oikos are some other long-term favorites)! I also put it on frozen Kodiak cake waffles cooked in the toaster, sugar free angel food cake (Kroger), or your favorite lower-cal ice cream such as Breyer's or Halo Top!
